The Art of Gymnastics and Cheer Competition Results

Congratulations to Gabriell Mattera for being named to the "Top 12" (out of 240 athletes!)
at the University of Maryland Cheerleading training camp this past month!

Below are the outstanding results from the 2008 National Starpower Championships held recently in Ocean City, Maryland.

Art of Gymnastics & Cheer competed against over 39 other studios from across the country.  Art of Gymnastics & Cheer was one of only 3 studios to have more than 8 numbers compete in the final showdown of "The Battle of the Stars"!  Below are the amazing results:

AMAZING JOB AT ONE OF THE
TOUGHEST JUDGED COMPETITIONS IN SEVERAL SEASONS!!

Congratulations to our teams for an AMAZING weekend in Hackensack, NJ!  The teams earned Platinum Ranking for 45 out of 49 routines and Elite Gold with the additional 4!  The teams also placed in the top 10 in every single overall high score!  This was the largest Starpower Regional Event with over 825 entries!!!  The placements in MANY of the overall high scores this weekend were within TENTHS of a point!  When such a close margin occurred, it will be denoted in the listing.
